ALGORITHM of actions of participants in the educational process upon announcement of the Air raid alert. 

In accordance with the current legislation, requirements and recommendations of state bodies and local self-government bodies, the Main Department of the State Service of Ukraine for Emergency Situations in the Dnipropetrovsk region, regarding the safety of participants in the educational process in the city of Dnipro, PEHE “Dnipro Institute of Medicine and Public Health” fulfilling the prescriptions, have properly arranged protective structures (shelters) in the basements of the main educational building and associated practice bases:

→ Flagship Building (14 Yuliush Slovatskyi St.)

→ Building of the Dormitory (14 Yuliush Slovacky St.)

→ Bases of associated partners:

• MedinUa Clinic&Lab (Simferopolska Street, 2k);

• MUNICIPAL NON-COMMERCIAL ENTERPRISE “MUNICIPAL MULTIPROFILE MOTHER AND CHILD CLINICAL HOSPITAL NAMED AFTER PROF. M. F. RUDNEV” OF THE DNIPROV CITY COUNCIL (Lesia Ukrainka Avenue, building 26);

• “DNIPROMEDINVEST” Limited Liability Company (Naberezhna Zavodska St., building 123 D)

All objects have Declarations of compliance of the material and technical base with the requirements of the legislation on fire safety.

When conducting classes at clinical bases (associated clinics), students have the opportunity to use the protective structures of the corresponding clinical bases, as well as public shelters located nearby.

Before the beginning of each academic year, the protective structures of the Institute are inspected by a state commission, which includes, in particular, employees of the State Emergency Service of Ukraine.

In the corridors and on the stairwells there are traffic signs to the protective structures.

Educational facilities and bathrooms are equipped in the protective buildings. Participants of the educational process, while staying in protective structures, are provided with drinking water, hot water, the Internet, and the ability to charge a mobile phone. Protective structures are equipped with backup power.

The Institute developed and approved the Algorithm of actions of the participants of the educational process following the signal “Air alarm” at the link. All participants of the educational process are periodically briefed on actions following the “Air Alarm” signal.
